In accordance with Section 337.401(3)(d), FS, notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Hillsborough County, Florida, will hold a public hearing for the first and only reading on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. in the Commission Chambers in Tampa, Florida, for the purpose of adopting a proposed ordinance governing a telecommunications company placing or maintaining telecommunications facilities in its roads or rights-of-way.
DATE AND TIME: Wednesday, November 1, 2017, 10:00 a.m.
PLACE: 601 E. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa, FL 33602
SUBJECT: The proposed ordinance creates a new set of rules regulating certain communications facilities within public rights-of-way, including requirements for registration, permitting, insurance coverage, indemnification, performance bonding, security funds, objective design standards, and other rules related thereto.
