NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Physical Therapy Practice has received the petition for declaratory statement from Jolene Faught. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of 486.021(11), F.S., as it applies to the petitioner.
The Petition, filed on October 6, 2017, seeks a declaratory statement regarding the scope of practice for licensed physical therapists, specifically as it relates to the practice of dry-needling as a licensed physical therapist in the State of Florida. Petitioner cites 486.021(11), F.S. within the Physical Therapy Practice Act. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
