    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The Board proposes the rule amendment to modify the rule to clarify the procedures for registration as a trainee real estate appraiser and to renumber the rule accordingly.

    SUMMARY: The rule amendment will modify the rule to clarify the procedures for registration as a trainee real estate appraiser and to renumber the rule accordingly.

    SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COSTS AND LEGISLATIVE RATIFICATION: The Agency has determined that this will not have an adverse impact on small business or likely increase directly or indirectly regulatory costs in excess of $200,000 in the aggregate within one year after the implementation of the rule. A SERC has not been prepared by the Agency.

    The Agency has determined that the proposed rule is not expected to require legislative ratification based on the statement of estimated regulatory costs or if no SERC is required, the information expressly relied upon and described herein: A SERC has not been prepared by the agency.     (1) An applicant for registration as a trainee real estate appraiser must present evidence satisfactory to the Board that the applicant has successfully completed within five (5) years of making application at least 100 classroom hours in approved academic courses in subjects related to real estate appraisal, including the following required curriculum:

    (a) through (d) No change.

    (2) through (5) No change.
