NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Building Commission has declined to rule on the petition for declaratory statement filed by Andrew C. Ask on June 27, 2017. The following is a summary of the agency’s declination of the petition:
Petitioner indicated that he had no particular set of circumstances about which he was petitioning a declaratory statement, but instead asserted that various terms found within the Florida Building Code, Energy Conservation, lacked unambiguous definitions, and should be specifically defined by the Commission. The Commission found that the petition failed to meet statutory and rule requirements, and declined to issue a declaratory statement.
