Notice of Bid/Request for Proposal
RFP 10111-002 LM Pine Seedling Production
The Suwannee River Water Management District (District or SRWMD) is requesting proposals for pine seedling production to reforest approximately 1,500 acres during December 2011 through January 2012. The District is interested in planting bare root slash and longleaf pine and containerized longleaf pine. The purpose of planting is to reforest or augment existing areas with pine tree seedlings to meet the Districts Desired Future Conditions (DFC). Barring unanticipated delays, all pine seedling planting will be completed no later than January 31, 2012. Seedling quality must comply with the quality standards shown in the Request for Proposals.
Proposers are required to complete and submit one original and five copies of the Proposal Response Form included in Section 6 of the Request for Proposals. Proposals are due prior to 4:00 p.m., District Headquarters, Live Oak, FL. Opening will occur at this time. The Selection Committee will meet at 9:00 a.m., November 12, 2010.
