61J1-4.010Supervision and Training of Registered Trainee Appraisers

The Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board hereby gives notice: that on September 7, 2018, an Order was filed on the Petition for Variance and Waiver filed on July 2, 2018 by Steve Vockell. Petitioner sought a variance or waiver from Rule 61J1-4.010, F.A.C., regarding obtaining a state certification based on previous experience as a residential appraiser. The Notice was published on July 18, 2018 in Vol. 44, No. 139, of the Florida Administrative Register. The Board at its meeting held on August 6, 2018, in Orlando, Florida, voted to grant the Petition for Variance or Waiver finding that the Petitioner has established that the purpose of the underlying statute has been met and that application of the rule would violate the principles of fairness or would impose substantial hardship.
