    64ER18-1 Waiver of Fees for Vital Records - Hurricane Michael

    SPECIFIC REASONS FOR FINDING AN IMMEDIATE DANGER TO THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY OR WELFARE: In response to Hurricane Michael, Governor Rick Scott issued Executive Order Number 18-276 to direct disaster response for the people of Florida.

    REASON FOR CONCLUDING THAT THE PROCEDURE IS FAIR UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES: For those persons in Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Leon, Liberty, Taylor, Washington, and Wakulla counties affected by Hurricane Michael, this emergency rule provides for the waiver of fees imposed by Chapter 64V-1, F.A.C.

    SUMMARY: The emergency rule provides for the waiver of certain Vital Records fees set forth in Chapter 64V-1, F.A.C. for those persons in counties affected by Hurricane Michael.

    64ER18-1 Waiver of Fees for Vital Records - Hurricane Michael

    For persons in Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Leon, Liberty, Taylor, Washington, and Wakulla counties affected by Hurricane Michael, the Bureau of Vital Statistics shall waive fees for Florida vital records requests as provided in Rule 64V-1.014.

    THIS RULE TAKES EFFECT UPON BEING FILED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE UNLESS A LATER TIME AND DATE IS SPECIFIED IN THE RULE.
