The Department of Law Enforcement hereby gives notice:
that on February 14, 2019, the Department of Law Enforcement, received a petition for a permanent waiver of subsection 11B-27.002(4), F.A.C., from Manuel Fernandez. Petitioner wishes to permanently waive that portion of the Rule that states: (a) Within 4 years of the beginning date of a Commission-approved Basic Recruit Training Program, an individual shall successfully complete the program, achieve a passing score on the applicable State Officer Certification Examination, and gain employment, and certification as an officer. Notice of the petition was published in the Florida Administrative Register on 02-19-19 at 45/34. The Petition for Permanent Waiver was DENIED on May 13, 2019. Petitioner failed to meet the standard for obtaining the waiver.
