The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Pursuant to Executive Order 16-230, the Governor has declared a state of emergency related to Hurricane Matthew. As a result of Hurricane Matthew, certain roads, to include State Road A1A, were impacted. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is taking immediate action to respond to such impacts and is hosting an open house for State Road (SR) A1A emergency repairs.
Open house participants may attend any time during the scheduled hours to learn more. Project information will be available for review, and FDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project, answer questions, and receive comments.
The project is approximately 1.3 miles long, from South 9th Street to South 22nd Street in Flagler Beach, and the primary focus is to make temporary repairs to reopen SR A1A to two way traffic. The timetable for this to occur is 45 days, or less.
Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
