NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 16, 2018, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Embassy Suite Sarasota at 202 N Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of Florida Building Code, 2015 edition, Rule 3007.7.4, as adopted by Rule 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that addresses lobby size which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
