NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 22, 2018, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Atlantis Sherbrooke Villas South at 300 J.F.K Drive, Atlantis, FL. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of Rule 1002.2(f), ASME A17.1, 1988 edition, as adopted by Rule 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires upgrading the elevators which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
