PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Updates definitions, terms of art, and statutory references. Adds requirements regarding content of signs required to be conspicuously placed on the premises at residential treatment centers warning of the dangers of human trafficking pursuant to Chapter Law 2023-85. And finally, reduces unnecessary regulatory burdens on providers, while improving safety and treatment for children in care by differentiating minimum staffing and treatment standards among types of residential treatment centers.
