NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 23, 2012, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Airmasters. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of ASME A18.1, Section 2.1.1.3, 2.1.1.6, 2.1.1.7, 2.7.1, and 2.10.1, as adopted by 61C-5.001(1), Florida Administrative Code that requires upgrading the elevators runway enclosures, limitation of load, speed and travel, and operation which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
