The purpose of this plan is to explore strategies to leverage the economic benefit of the waterways as a recreational resource and component of a multi-modal transportation system. The project is being facilitated by the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council on behalf of the Martin Metropolitan Planning Organization, St. Lucie Transportation Planning Organization, and Florida Inland Navigational District.
