NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Department of Business and Regulation, Florida Division of Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by The Apollo Condominium Association, Inc. on May 02, 2018. The following is a summary of the agency’s disposition of the petition: For reasons stated in the Declaratory Statement, it is ordered that, pursuant to the amendments made to subparagraph 718.112(2)(d)2., Florida Statutes, if at the time of the next scheduled election the current board member has served on the association board for eight consecutive years, that board member would be ineligible to serve unless there are fewer eligible candidates than vacant seats on the board or unless that candidate is approved by an affirmative vote of unit owners representing two-thirds of all votes cast in the election.
