    The Florida Department of Transportation District 2 announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: November 6, 2014, 6:30 p.m.

    PLACE: Oceanway Assembly of God, 12240 Sago Ave. W., Jacksonville, FL 32218

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This public hearing is being held to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic and environmental effects for the proposed reconstruction of the I-95/I-295 northern interchange in Duval County, FL; financial project ID number 213323-1. The project limits are I-95 from just south of SR 104 (Dunn Avenue) to just north of SR 102 (Airport Road) and I-295 from just west of SR 243 (International Airport Boulevard) to just east of Pulaski Road.

    The proposed I-95/I-295 interchange reconfiguration includes constructing flyovers, ramps, auxiliary lanes and other minor improvements at interchanges in the system. Also, a noise barrier wall is proposed adjacent to the Biscayne Lake Estates & Cedar North neighborhoods.

    As of October 16, 2014, project documents will be available for review at Highlands Branch Library, 1826 Dunn Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32218 and FDOT Urban Office, 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204.

    Persons wishing to submit written statements may do so at the hearing or send them to Nelson Bedenbaugh at FDOT Mail Station 2002, 1109 South Marion Ave., Lake City, FL 32025 postmarked no later than November 16, 2014. All statements postmarked on, or before, that date will become part of the public hearing record.
