The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME: Thursday, November 14, 2019, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., CT. A formal presentation and public comment period will begin at 6:00 p.m., CT.

PLACE: Warrior’s Hall, 201 Stillwell Avenue, Crestview.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The intent of these projects is to resurface and make safety improvements along 11 miles of S.R. 85 (South Ferdon Boulevard) from north of S.R. 123 (Roger J. Clary Highway) to Hospital Drive. Additional improvements include; sidewalk construction, lighting enhancements, turn lane extension and construction, signalization improvements, access management modifications at selected locations, drainage improvements, and ramp access improvements at Interstate 10. No additional right-of-way is needed. Bids for construction are currently scheduled to be received winter 2021.

Maps, drawings and other information will be on display at the hearing. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. Additional information is available on the project website nwflroads.com.
