PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The Department intends to amend Rules 65D-30.002, 65D-30.0031, 65D-30.004, 65D-30.0046, and 65D-30.0081, F.A.C., to modify regulatory language in accordance with Chapter 2019-159, Laws of Florida. The amendments will add definitions; add requirements for authorizing organizations that may certify peer specialists; add an exception to the rule regarding who may make or accept referrals from specified residences; revise qualifications, training, certification requirements, and scope of service for peer specialists; and address the new statutory provision regarding the housing activity for this service component as a recovery residence.
