    61G20-1.001Florida Building Code Adopted

    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: House Bill 89 (2023), House Bill 327 (2023), Senate Bill 154 (2023), and Senate Bill 1068 (2023), made changes to statutory provisions which are included in or addressed by the Florida Building Code. Additionally, section 553.73(8)(b), F.S., provides a mechanism for the Commission to issue errata to the Code to list demonstrated errors in its provisions. The Commission intends to solicit public comment regarding any potential errors present in the Code, and conduct a rule development workshop to consider issuing errata.
