Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area Hydrologic Restoration Project Phase II
DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, December 2, 2008, 7:00 p.m.
PLACE: Kenansville Community Association Center, 1150 Canoe Creek Road, Kenansville, FL 34739
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), in cooperation with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), is nearing the completion of Phase II for the Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area Hydrologic Restoration Project. The project is intended to find an engineering solution that will restore flow through Fodderstack Slough, replace the G-113 structure with another structure or solution that will provide the same functions as the G-113 structure, and achieve a more natural flow pattern throughout the Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area. During this meeting there will be a presentation describing the alternatives evaluation and the top performing alternative plans.
