Advertisement of Prequalification
J. Kokolakis Contracting, Inc. (JKC) (CGC‐062093), the selected Construction Management firm for the City of Clearwater – Street Sweeping Facility at Sherwood Yard hereby solicits sealed proposals from prequalified vendors and subcontractors. The project consists of a new 9,430 SF Pre-Engineered Metal Building with sitework, utility modifications and stormwater pond modifications on an adjacent parcel. J. Kokolakis Contracting, Inc. is currently accepting subcontractor/vendor prequalification forms for the following scopes of work: CAST IN PLACE CONCRETE and SITEWORK.
All parties interested in participating on this project must be prequalified in order for their proposal to be considered. Prequalification instructions and forms are available by emailing: estimatingfl@jkokolakis.com.
Completed prequalification forms must be filled out and emailed to estimatingfl@jkokolakis.com by 11/11/16. Only Prequalified firms will receive detailed proposal packages. All interested parties are encouraged to attend an informational pre-proposal conference at the Project Site (1640 Arcturas Ave., Clearwater, FL 33765) at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 20016 Deadline for receipt of Proposals has been set for Thursday, 12/1/16, at 2:00 p.m. Construction is tentatively scheduled to start in January 2017 and is expected to last 8 months. The City of Clearwater and JKC reserve the right to accept or reject any and all proposal in whole or part to waive informalities and irregularities. No verbal instruction or directives will be accepted regarding this project during the proposal period. All instructions or directives must be clarified through written Addenda or Supplements. The Owner and Architect will not accept calls regarding this project. All future updates regarding this project will only be posted to interested firms through the iSqFt website.
