NOTICE OF CHANGE

Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 43 No. 195, October 9, 2017 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

61C-5.001 Safety Standards.

(1) Applicability. The safety standards adopted herein shall apply to all elevators covered by Chapter 399, F.S., as follows:

(a) The installation, alteration, relocation, and change in classification must comply with Chapter 399, F.S., as well as the edition of the Florida Building Code or as adopted by the Florida Building Commission, and the Elevator Safety Code, applicable safety standards in effect on the date of receipt of application for the permit to install, alter, relocate, or change in classification, as adopted herein.

(b) through (c) No change.

(2) through (4) No change

PROPOSED EFFECTIVE DATE: December 31, 2017.
