NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Department of Health has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Milind Tilak, M.D., of Doctors Inlet Internal Medicine, Spine and Pain Clinic and Avenues Internal Medicine Clinic on August 24, 2018. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition:
The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published August 31, 2018, in Vol. 44, No. 171 of the Florida Administrative Register. The Petition asks if Avenues Internal Medicine Clinic can relinquish its registration as a pain management clinic registration without violating the registration requirements set forth in statute and rule. The Petition was answered in the affirmative. Avenues Internal Medicine Clinic does not meet the statutory definition of pain management clinic and is relieved of the responsibility of registration.
