    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The Agency is proposing to amend this rule per HB843 to add clarifying language related to the delivery of surgical care to children in ambulatory surgical centers. Recent statutory changes in s. 395.1055, F.S. direct the agency to adopt rules for quality of care, nurse staffing, physician staffing, and equipment standards. The proposed rule will also clarify the permitted length of stay for pediatric patients.
