PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this amendment is to change subsections 18-1.002(2), (4), (6), (7), and (27), to remove references to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice “USPAP”; add the Appraisal Institute as an “Approved appraisal organization”; and include the effective dates for Supplemental Appraisal Standards for the Board of Trustees. Additionally, subsection 18-1.006(1) will be revised to remove reference to USPAP. Finally, subsection 18-1.007, (1)(b)4., 5., (5), (5)(a), and (6) F.A.C., will remove reference to USPAP and add reference to the Supplemental Standards for the Board of Trustees, as USPAP is a standard included within the Supplemental Standards Board of Trustees Appraisers are required to follow.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: The Rule amendments will provide appraisal procedures for state land acquisition.
