NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Hearing Aid Specialists has received the petition for declaratory statement from Allegro Credit, filed on July 11, 2017. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Section 484.041(3), Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.
The Petitioner is asking whether leasing hearing aids constitutes the practice of dispensing hearing aids and requires licensure as a hearing aid specialist. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after the publication of this notice.
