    6A-10.030Other Assessment Procedures for College-Level Communication and Computation Skills

    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The rule establishes the required coursework students attending public postsecondary institutions must successfully complete to demonstrate college-level writing and mathematics skills prior to the receipt of an Associate of Arts degree or entry into the upper division. The purpose of the rule amendment will be to update the mathematics coursework to align with the new mathematics pathways established pursuant to section 1007.23(3), Florida Statutes, which was created through the passage of Senate Bill 366 (2021).
