Construction Industry Licensing Board

The Construction Industry Licensing Board hereby gives notice of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on July 8, 2015, by Matthew Lail. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 41, No. 141, of the July 22, 2015, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver or variance to use his examination scores from his Certified Building Contractor License to qualify for his application as a Certified General Contractor. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on August 14, 2015, in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The Board’s Order, filed on September 16, 2015, declines to answer the Petition because it is not legally sufficient pursuant to 28-104.002, F.A.C.
