    DATE AND TIME: Thursday, October 12, 2017, 5:30 p.m. 6:30 p.m. (EDT)

PLACE: Florida Army National Guard Armory, 2049 Pat Thomas Parkway, Quincy, Florida 32351

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: A public information meeting is being held concerning State Road (S.R.) 269 (Quincy Loop North) Design, a proposed new two-lane facility from S.R. 12 to S.R. 267 (Bainbridge Highway).

    Financial Project Identification Number: 218946-6-32-01

The intent of this project is to construct a proposed new two-lane facility on State Road (S.R.) 269 (Quincy Loop North) from S.R. 12 to S.R. 267 (Bainbridge Highway). The design includes two roundabouts, one at the intersection of S.R. 12 and Ralph Strong Road north of the Quincy Municipal Airport and the other at the intersection of County Road 65 and Salter Road, and the realignment of the S.R. 267 and Salter Road intersection. This preliminary design is based on the recommendations of the previously completed corridor study and the ongoing Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study. The project is not funded for right-of-way acquisition or construction in the current FDOT Five-Year Work Program.

The meeting will be held to present the preliminary engineering design to date and give the public an opportunity to provide comments concerning proposed design. There will be no formal presentation, however, maps, drawings and other information will be on display. FDOT representatives will be available to explain proposed improvements, answer questions and receive comments.
