    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four improvement projects for a new interchange at I-95 (State Road 9) and Oslo Road (County Road 606) and widening of Oslo Road from west of I-95 to 58th Avenue in Indian River County, Florida. Financial Project ID Numbers: 413048-2-32-01; 431521-1-32-01; Federal Aid Project (FAP) Numbers: 8886-459-A; 0952-154-I. The proposed improvements also include the realignment of 82nd Avenue (CR 609) and elimination of the 86th Avenue S.W. connection to Oslo Road. The purpose of these projects is to provide additional capacity to accommodate future traffic needs, improve incident response time along I-95, improve regional connectivity and travel time for area travelers. The projects also complement the County’s planned vision for this area, and provide roadway improvements that are compatible with adjacent planning and construction projects. The workshop will be held as an informal, open house. No formal presentation will be made. Maps, drawings and other pertinent information will be available throughout the workshop. Staff will be present to discuss the proposed improvements, answer questions and receive comments.

    The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
