NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 3, 2013, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Portobello Condominium. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, Section 2.27.3.2, 2.27.3.2.2, 2.27.3.2.3, 2.27.3.24, 2.27.3.2.5, and 2.27.3.2.6, as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), Florida Administrative Code that requires upgrading the elevators heat detector system operations which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
