NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Construction Industry Licensing Board has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Frederick S. Hagen on May 30, 2014. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition:

The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Vol. 40, No. 113, of the June 11, 2014, Florida Administrative Register. The Petitioner sought a statement from the Board as to whether the mandatory annual inspections of Backflow Prevention Devices required by the City of Tallahassee Cross Connection Control must be performed by a licensed plumbing contractor. The Board issued an order on September 23, 2014, declining to issue a declaratory statement because the Petitioner is not substantially affected, has no standing, and is asking about the conduct of another person.
