    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity has granted a Petition for Waiver of subsection 73C-23.0041(4), F.A.C., on October 1, 2014. The Petition was received from the City of Dade City, Florida and filed with the Department’s agency clerk on July 8, 2014. The Notice of Petition was filed in the Florida Administrative Register on July 9, 2014, and published in Volume 40, Issue Number 132. The Petition sought a waiver from the rule that adopted by reference the Fiscal Year 2012 Community Development Block Grant program application forms contained in application manual CDBG-A-1, Application for Funding. The waiver provided for the City to swap a listed Addressed Need with a listed Unmet Need in its application. The Petition was granted to enable the City to react to citizen concerns and needs, provide for necessary infrastructure upgrades in other areas of the City that still meet the statutory objectives.
