NOTICE OF CHANGE

Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 48 No. 160, August 17, 2022 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

The changes are in response to written comments submitted by the staff of the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee in a letter dated August 18, 2022. The changes are as follows:

Incorporated by reference Form DBPR BOPC 1, Application for Harbor Pilot Examination, the Department includes changes on page 1, Application Checklist: The reference to “Merchant Mariner’s License” has been replaced with “United States Coast Guard License”, and “Submit a copy of your birth certificate or other legal proof of age. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age” has been added for legal proof of age. Page 2, Instructions, No. 1.e.: “If you are unable to supply this documentation, a certified statement from the clerk of court for the relevant jurisdiction stating the status of records is required” has been removed.
