    The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: October 15, 2015, 5:30 p.m.

    PLACE: New Hope Ministries Gymnasium, 7675 Davis Boulevard, Naples, Florida 34104

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: FDOT will hold a public meeting to provide information about road improvements to SR 84. The meeting is an open house with no formal presentation. People attending the meeting may review project displays and aerial photographs and speak one-on-one with project team members. Displays will show plans to mill and resurface the existing road, construct sidewalks on both sides of the road, accommodate bicycles, install mast arms and crosswalks at County Barn Road, and raise the median for future landscaping. Collier County will add landscaping to the median once the road construction is complete.

    The department sent notices to all property owners and interested people located at least 300 feet on either side of SR 84 within the project limits. The meeting is developed in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
