NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Cosmetology has received the petition for declaratory statement from Maria Vivas Chapoteau, RN, RCIS, PMU Artist, Aurora Miller, RN, PMU Artist, and Karen Day, MSN, Electrologist, filed on September 17, 2018.The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of performing eyelash extensions under their Florida licenses for permanent makeup artists and Electrolysis license as it applies to the petitioner.
The petitioners seek the Board’s permission to perform eyelash extensions. Petitioners have not identified a statute or rule to be interpreted, as it applies to the petitioners. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after the publication of this notice.
