    The Florida Department of Transportation, District Five announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, October 20, 2015, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (open house format)

    PLACE: Eastern Florida State College - Community Dining Room (Building 11, Room 129), 1519 Clearlake Road, Cocoa, Florida 32922

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding an Alternatives Public Meeting for the Clearlake Road (State Road 501) Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study in Brevard County (FPID: 433605-1-22-01). We will present design alternatives to widen Clearlake Road from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane roadway. The study limits extend from south of Michigan Avenue to west of Industry Road, a distance of approximately 1.35 miles. This meeting provides interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the social, economic and environmental impacts of the proposed design alternatives.

    The meeting will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at the Eastern Florida State College – Community Dining Room, Building 11, Room 129 located at 1519 Clearlake Road, Cocoa, FL 32922. It will be an open house from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Attendees may watch a video presentation that will be running on a continuous loop, review study information, and discuss the design alternatives with the study team. Information presented at this meeting will also be available on the study website: www.clearlakeroadstudy.com, by October 27, 2015.
