The Board of Massage Therapy hereby gives notice:
of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on April 30, 2018 by De Dao Wu. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 44, No. 88, of the May 4, 2018 Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a variance or waiver of 64B7-32.002, F.A.C., regarding transcript requirements. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on July 27, 2018, Panama City Beach, Florida
The Board’s Order, filed on August 24, 2018, found that the petition was in substantial compliance with the provisions of Section 120.542, F.S. and Chapter 28-104, F.A.C., and the Petitioner has achieved the purpose of the underlying statute by other means, and has demonstrated compliance with the rule would pose a substantial hardship on Petitioner. The Board granted the petition for waiver or variance of Rule 64B7-32.002, F.A.C., and the application for certification is approved.
