    PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

    The FLORIDA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION announces a continuance of the evidentiary hearing scheduled for October 9 and 10, 2018, due to Hurricane Michael, and will include time set aside for public comment/testimony, as REVISED below, in the following dockets to which all persons are invited. 

    DOCKET NOS. AND TITLES: 20170235-EI - In re: Petition by Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) for authority to charge FPL rates to former City of Vero Beach customers and for approval of FPL's accounting treatment for City of Vero Beach transaction.  20170236-EU - In re: Joint petition to terminate territorial agreement, by Florida Power & Light and the City of Vero Beach.

    HEARING DATE AND TIME: Thursday, October 18, 2018, 9:00 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2018, has been reserved for continuation of the hearing if needed. The starting time of the Friday session if needed, will be announced at the conclusion of the Thursday session. The time and place for receiving Public Comment and Testimony in these dockets has been REVISED as listed below.

    REVISED: “Public Testimony” will be taken beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018 (See below under the heading “TESTIMONY AND PARTY STATUS” for additional information).

    PLACE: Room 148, Betty Easley Conference Center, 4075 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee, Florida.

    TESTIMONY AND PARTY STATUS: Any member of the public who wishes to offer public comment/testimony should be present at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018.  By providing public comment/testimony, a person does not become a party to the proceeding.  Party status is determined in accordance with Rule 28-106.205, Florida Administrative Code. Any member of the public offering public comment/testimony and all witnesses testifying shall be subject to cross-examination at the conclusion of their testimony.  The hearing will be governed by the provisions of Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, and Chapters 25-22 and 28-106, Florida Administrative Code.
