    64J-1.0201: EMS Instructor Qualifications

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 28, 2016, the Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Oversight, received a petition for Emergency variance and waiver from Rule 64J-1.0201, F.A.C., which requires lead and adjunct instructors of EMT and Paramedic Training Programs to have a minimum of an Associate’s degree from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the United States Department of Education. Chipola College requested a variance that will allow Mr. Jeff Guadiana until January 1, 2019, to complete his Associate degree.
