The Department of Children and Families hereby gives notice: The Department of Children and Families has issued an order disposing of the petition for waiver of subsection 65C-15.017(3), F.A.C., filed by Youth and Family Alternatives, Inc., and Malcolm Brunner, Jr., Case No., 18-038W on October 31, 2018. The Notice of Variance and Waivers was published in Volume 44, No. 188, F.A.R., on September 26, 2018. subsection 65C-15.017(3), F.A.C., states that agency staff responsible for performing casework services shall have a bachelor’s degree in social work or related area of study or a master’s degree in social work or a related area of study from an accredited college or university. Related areas of study include those listed in subsection (2). The following is a summary of the agency’s disposition of the petition: The waiver of subsection 65C-15.017(3), F.A.C., was dismissed as a waiver is not necessary for the reason requested.
