Final Order No.: DEO-15-184
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity issued Final Order No. DEO-15-184 on November 5, 2015, in response to an application submitted by The Fairways at Sandestin Homeowners Association, Inc. for covenant revitalization under Chapter 720, Part III, Florida Statutes.
The Department determined that the application did not meet the statutory requirements for covenant revitalization because the Proposed Revived Declaration did not include a proper affidavit as required by Section 720.406(1)(e), Florida Statutes. Additionally, the submission violated Section 702.406(1), Florida Statutes, as the Department did not receive the submission within the statutory sixty day period. Accordingly, the Department’s Final Order denied the application for covenant revitalization.
