Construction Industry Licensing Board

The Construction Industry Licensing Board hereby gives notice of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on August 16, 2013, by Nilo A. Hernandez. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 39, No. 185, of the September 23, 2013 Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver or variance of Rule 61G4-15.030, F.A.C. to grandfather his County Roofing Certificate or license into a Certified Roofing License. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on October 11, 2013, in Orlando, Florida.

The Board’s Order, filed on November 5, 2013, denied the petition, finding that granting the Petition would not accomplish the underlying purpose of Section 489.118, Florida Statutes.
