60A-1.006Vendors and Contractors
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To repeal rule 60A-1.006, F.A.C.
SUMMARY: Pursuant to section 287.042(1)(b), F.S., the Department is authorized to remove any source of supply which fails to fulfill any of its duties specified in a contract with the state from its vendor list, and may reinstate any such source of supply when it is satisfied that further instances of default will not occur. Rule 60A-1.006, F.A.C., prescribed the procedures for such removal. Chapter 2021-225, Laws of Florida, created section 287.1351, F.S., which contains the prerequisites and procedures for placing and removing vendors on or from the suspended vendors list. Rule 60A-1.006, F.A.C., is no longer necessary.
SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COSTS AND LEGISLATIVE RATIFICATION:
The Agency has determined that this will not have an adverse impact on small business or likely increase directly or indirectly regulatory costs in excess of $200,000 in the aggregate within one year after the implementation of the rule. A SERC has not been prepared by the Agency.
The Agency has determined that the proposed rule is not expected to require legislative ratification based on the statement of estimated regulatory costs or if no SERC is required, the information expressly relied upon and described herein: the repeal of the rule.
Any person who wishes to provide information regarding a statement of estimated regulatory costs, or provide a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative must do so in writing within 21 days of this notice.
