The Board of Medicine hereby gives notice that on October 22, 2013, an Order was filed on the Petition for Waiver. The Petition for Waiver was filed by Stewart D. Warren, M.D., on August 27, 2013, seeking a waiver from Rule 64B8-4.018, Florida Administrative Code, with regard to core clerkships. The Notice was published in Volume 39, No. 168, of the Florida Administrative Register, on August 28, 2013. The Board, at its meeting held on October 4, 2013, voted to grant the Petition for Waiver finding that the Petitioner demonstrated a substantial hardship; that application of the rule would violate the principles of fairness; and that he has met the purpose of the underlying statute.
