The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME: November 21, 2013, 5:00 p.m. ‒ 6:30 p.m. “open house”

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation is hosting a public information meeting on November 21, 2013 about construction of roadway improvements to US 41 from SR 951 to Greenway Road in Collier County. The meeting is an informal open house from 5:00 p.m. ‒ 6:30 p.m. at Saint Finbarr Catholic Church, 13520 Tamiami Trail East in Naples.

Construction begins in November 2013 to expand US 41 from SR 951 to Greenway Road in Collier County. From SR 951 to Joseph Lane, the project expands US 41 from two lanes to six lanes. From Joseph Lane to Greenway Road, the project expands US 41 from two lanes to four lanes. The department does not need to acquire land or property to build these improvements.

Project staff will be available at the upcoming meeting to discuss construction of these two segments, answer questions, and take your comments. People are invited to attend anytime between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. There will be no formal presentation.

There is no agenda, this is an "open house" public information meeting.
