NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Nursing has received the petition for declaratory statement from Amy Beckworth, filed on November 15, 2019.The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of paragraph 464.003(18)(b), F.S. as it applies to the petitioner.
The Petitioner seeks a Declaratory Statement from the Board with regard to whether it is within the scope of practice of a professional nursing as defined in paragraph 464.003(18)(b) F.S., to administer, during emergent situations, Diprivan via IV push to a patient with the intent to cause deep sedation for intubation purposes. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after the publication of this notice.
