NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 14, 2024, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Broadstone Westshore at 5105 W Tyson Ave., Tampa, FL 33611. Petitioner seeks a Routine Permanent variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, 2016, edition, Rules 2.8.1 and 2.8.2.2, as adopted by 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires no foreign equipment be placed inside the elevator hoistway, which poses a significant economic/financial hardship. Any interested person may file comments within 14 days of the publication of this notice with Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, 2601 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1013 (VW2024-185).
