NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Department of Business and Professional Regulation has received the petition for declaratory statement from Chris L Harriman on October 11, 2016.The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Section 565.02(4), Florida Statutes, as well as the regulations provided in Rule 61A-3.019, F.A.C. as it applies to the petitioner.
Petitioner asks for the Department's interpretation as to whether current members of a Veterans of Foreign Wars (“VFW”) post or lodge can be legally served in all affiliated posts or lodges in the State of Florida, and if this is act complies with Section 565.02(4), Florida Statutes, as well as the regulations provided in Rule 61A-3.019, Florida Administrative Code, regarding club licenses.
