NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Department of Financial Services, Division of State Fire Marshal (the “Department”), has received the petition for declaratory statement from Phillip Green (the “Petitioner”) on November 18, 2015. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of §§633.208(8) and 633.208(9), F.S., as it applies to the petitioner.
The Petition seeks the Department’s opinion as to whether it is the intent of the process to require fire sprinklers in one- and two-family dwellings as outlined in §§633.208(8) and 633.208(9), F.S. to be an independent and separate process from the local amendment to the fire code process as outlined in §633.208(3), F.S.
